Facilities

GRIP SkatePark is a space designed by passionate enthusiasts that offers a versatile environment for all skill levels, regardless of age. We have eight different areas that accommodate everything from basic instruction to training for elite-level competition. In addition to skateboarders, scooter riders, BMX cyclists, and inline skaters are also warmly welcome at the park.

GRIP SkatePark offers a wide variety of skateable features and is designed to accommodate different disciplines at an international level. The Park, Street, and Vert sections of the facility were designed in collaboration with the internationally renowned California Skateparks. The micro-ramp, wooden bowls, and plaza provide an opportunity to practice in a calm and safe environment, regardless of skill level. For jump training, there’s a jump track with a padded landing area. The air-conditioned space spans two floors and totals approximately 2,300 m², allowing for versatile use of the facilities and the hosting of various events.

Our vision is to create a place where community and passion come together! We want to offer a welcoming gathering place for skaters of all skill levels in a facility that also serves as a venue for international and domestic events.

Come be a part of GRIP SkatePark and experience a whole new dimension of skate culture!

Street
The Competition Street area is designed in the SLS (Street League)/WorldSkate style, where you can learn competition-style street skating and train with specific goals in mind—such as preparing for World Cup competitions. The area was designed in collaboration with, among others, the lead designer at California Skateparks, known for their SLS street course designs.

The area is classified as medium (M)/large (L) and covers approximately 400 m².

Plaza
Flatland skating is the very laboratory where you learn all the tricks of street skating, and the Plaza, located on the second floor of the GRIP skate park, was designed with this in mind.

The Plaza Street area caters to everyone from beginners to professionals. There, you can practice street skateboarding tricks in an area featuring curbs of varying heights, a small pyramid similar to the one at the Crowne Plaza in Paris, and a “central plaza”-style platform with small stairs and curbs/manual pads inspired by “Pier 7.”

The area is classified as small (S)/medium (M), and its total area (including the micro-ramp) is approximately 390

Park
The large concrete bowl features ramps ranging from 1.65 to 3 meters in height and is designed—in terms of its proportions, ramp steepness, and flow—to match the bowls used in World Cup competitions. The area was designed in collaboration with a leading designer from California Skateparks. The concrete bowl caters to both casual skaters and those training competitively, such as skaters participating in World Cup competitions.

The concrete bowl features several corners, a jump box, shallower sections, and a deep end that is 3 meters high.

The concrete bowl area covers approximately 550 m².

Bowls
GRIP skate park features two plywood bowls. A small, 70-centimeter-deep “duck pond” is suitable for everyone from beginners to seniors, and a medium-sized plywood bowl where you can learn more advanced tricks and have fun. The medium-sized bowl is a great place to practice tricks that you can later transfer to the large concrete bowl as your skills improve.

The ramps in the medium-sized bowl are relatively gentle. One side of the bowl is 1 meter deep and the other 1.2 meters deep, and the areas of different depths connect via a “waterfall.” The medium-sized bowl also features a corner.

The plywood bowl area covers approximately 200 m².

Vert ramp
A vert ramp is a ramp approximately 4 meters high and 12 meters wide, with 5-meter-wide benches at one end, on top of which an inflatable soft landing pad (airbag) can be installed. The vert ramp serves as a training ground where park skateboarding tricks are learned and can then be transferred to the large concrete bowl. This is precisely why Grip Skatepark features a vert ramp, which also includes a cushioned landing area and a 5-meter-wide bench. This makes Grip Skatepark unique in Europe, as it houses both a training ground for park skateboarding tricks (the vert ramp) and an actual concrete park under one roof.
The vert ramp caters to vert and park skaters of all levels, from beginners to professionals.
